For sure, SG!

Here is a snapshot taken from a softbody sample supplied with the Nvidia PhysX SDK.
Very impressive to see it in action!

Allan,

What are your plans with the physx implementation project?

Free release of the code?
Paid release of the code?

Not sure of the particulars of the physx EULA, but this would be a great addition to the engine.

I ask because this has re-invigorated my interest in the 3impact engine, specifically my project involving dynamically simulated off road vehicles ;) This project would be valuable for me for dynamic damage & complex suspension systems etc. (working with nothing but spheres is a pain in the ***)

I would hope something of this nature would help rebuild the 3impact crowd, great engine IMO but it's missing functionality like this.

Thanks for the great work (especially the lego Technic gears test), I've been following this since the beginning.

All the best!

Thanks, rlaitila.

My plans on releasing the source for this project are not clear at the present moment. :-\
It all really depends on Fernando's plan for incorporating PhysX into 3DRad. If  this involves a release of a PhysX-enabled 3Impact then there will be no need for a release of my code. If not ? ..........then that remains to be seen? I certainly will not put any price on my code if I release it (maybe a donation button, though)
